Des A. Pennington

Pastor | Poet | Veteran | Visionary

Des helps people rise from life’s toughest trials into purpose, healing, and power.

REJECTED

From slavery and social injustice to present-day economic and racial divides, it can be challenging for African American men to find their true identity. Often rejected by society at-large, and even within their own community at times, the African American male has been seen as a threat to many instead of an asset.

In this candid book, Rejected: The Story of an African American Man in Search of Himself, author Des A. Pennington takes readers on an authentic journey of healing, hope and direction for men of all ages who are struggling to find their true identity. Through his biographical sketches, Pennington addresses solutions to life’s complex issues like abuse, poverty, rejection and forgiveness through biblical principles.
